Acorn Life Cycle by Karmillina Acorn Life Cycle by Karmillina
At last I took the time to gather the illustrations I made for my community service's Acorn Festival Booklet :) I was in charge of illustrating the booklet and I also created the Festival's Mascot, an acorn called Bellotín. He's so cute and sexy! LOL.

This is the Life Cycle of an Acorn that you can find at the end of the Booklet. Clockwise from the top:
1. A tree offering shade and oxygen (this part was intended to illlustrate the benefits of a single tree)
2. An acorn
3. Oak Sprout that has recently germinated
4. Small Oak
5. 3-4 year old Oaks in a nursery
6. Older Oak placed correctly in a street
And so the cycle starts again.

You can also download the booklet through the website so you can nurse your own acorns, warning though, it's in Spanish! You can find it here
