PERSONALITY
Penelope is affable and easygoing, but wary of showing her true feelings. Being raised a noble, she is polite and well-mannered, but ignorant of the workings of the real world. She is shy nearby men, which she hides with a façade of self-sufficiency and her noble mannerisms. As a lonely female traveler, she is naturally distrustful of people, and only in the presence of those she trusts can she become her true self. She might come out as a little childish but is very intuitive and is quick to run away from any unfavorable situation. She is also highly critical of her surroundings.

HISTORY
Being born into the noble Fairbairn family, which prides itself in nursing beautiful Pokémon, Penelope was raised to be a graceful and beautiful woman, and that simple objective took over every aspect of her childhood. She lived in an extremely closed, traditional environment, as the male relatives around her made their lives as magic users or soldiers, the females were relegated to the arts, particularly music, and conversation, but only in preparation for marriage. The Fairbairn women were not allowed to make a life of their own and, although they were allowed to attend sport hunting outings, they were pretty sheltered. As a Fairbairn-born child instead of married into the family, this was no different for Penelope, which made her grow pretty ignorant of the outside world. All she grew knowing was pretty dresses, sewing and knitting, music, and the manor in which she lived. She barely went out and only in company of both of her parents.

Of course, such a noble family couldn't afford their bloodline being tainted by an unfavorable marriage, so little Penelope was engaged at the age of 3 to the son of another noble family, the Cadwallader. As Penelope grew, she became used to the presence of the Cadwallader heir in her life, and they became playmates and friends.

Over the course of her teenage years, she was given a Pokémon companion, a Buneary named Garnet, and the small bunny became a sort of maid to her as well as a cute pet. As she found out that she couldn't trust her deepest secrets to anyone else unless she risked everyone eventually finding out, Garnet became her only confident, and between the girl and her partner blossomed a very strong bond.

As Penelope became of age however, and as her marriage drew close, she discovered that she didn't really want her fiancée as a spouse: he was egocentric and sexist, and even though he genuinely liked her, she couldn't bring herself to feel the same. She was stuck, as her own family became colder and colder towards her, hoping she could get some common sense and accept her fate, and there was only one option: run away.

When it came to things she really wanted, she could be incredibly careful and calculating, so she didn't spare any precautions: She kept stealing money from her parents room, little by little, so nobody would notice; she procured a bow and arrows, and also prepared a pack with everything she might need: her spellbooks, graphite sticks, ink and quill, a knife… one night, she simply took her Pokémon and her baggage, and fled her home, running nonstop until she believed she was safe, in a nearby town. However, they would hunt her for sure… so she cut her long mane, wishing she could just cut all her ties with her family and her fiancée, and be free. But she'd soon find out Pokégea was not like she pictured it in her mind.

Some of her nicknames include Penny or Pepe. But please don't call her Pepe, she gets mad.
As a noble girl, some of her skills include archery (used for sport hunting mostly), singing and playing harp.
So she's constantly being hunted down, but she lives mostly in Pandemoria's Capital City, learning magic in the guild, knowing that no one will hunt her down in the lion's den.}
